He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana but saw himself as a Texan, through and through. Christopher was the kindest, sweetest soul to ever grace this Earth. He did not love easily but he loved hard. He was sensitive to the slightest mistake with those he loved and was fiercely protective of them. He graduated from The Colony High School and was attending Collin College to get his History degree. He loved LOTR, games with his family, cooking, helping, teaching others, playful banter, Chrisisms, his weighted blanket, his headphones, some good music, History, Geography, Video Games (Strategy and RPG, especially EU 4), and reading. He did not like to socialize or be touched but for those close to him, he would talk your ear off and hug you at the slightest sign of sadness. The world is a dark and terrible place and Christopher is happy and safe now.
He is leaving behind his grandparents, Walter and Theresa Gilbreath, his aunt, Elizabeth Gilbreath, his godparents, Regina and Tom Turpin (Trinity and Tristyn Turpin), and his beloved dogs Rockbiter and Falcor. He is also leaving behind his mother, Steffanie Gilbreath, his twin brother, Alec Gilbreath and his wife Papitchaya (Sapphire) Deehamhae, his younger sister, Kaylee Gilbreath and her husband Tyler Gilbreath, and his nephew, the person he loved and wanted to protect the most (besides his brother), Elijah Gilbreath.
There will be no funeral for Chris, he did not like large groups. His close family will have a celebration of life but it will not be open to others.
Pippin says, “I didn’t think it would end this way.” Gandalf replies:“End? No, the journey doesn’t end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it.” Pippin asks, “What? Gandalf? See what?” Gandalf answers: “White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise.” Pippin says, “Well, that isn’t so bad.” Gandalf smiles and says, “No… no, it isn’t.”
