A fighter until the end, he passed away peacefully on July 17, 2022, surrounded by his family and loved ones. A warrior throughout life, he was 55 years old.
Vernon was a strong, kind, loving, and supportive husband. His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of our family. Vernon enjoyed cooking for others, gaming and riding his motorcycle on a bright, sunny day. He was an avid photographer and story-teller, music enthusiast and found joy in mentoring others. His bright smile filled our hearts with love and his whimsical humor filled our house with laughter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Klein Sr.. He is survived and cherished by his wife, Tonya, his son, Joshua, his two daughters, Kayla and Christina and his grandson, Braxton. He is also survived by his mother, Alicia, and sisters, Elizabeth, Nidia and Jeannette. He was a treasured uncle of all his nieces and nephews and an esteemed friend to many others.
Vernon requested a celebration of life be held in his honor at a later date. We mourn the loss of a great man and encourage any and all who knew him to remember the beauty he brought to this world.
“Know that I have loved you every day that you walked in my world, know that I will love you into the next world. Use my passing as a catalyst – to go and live your life fully, in this world, that you may one day look back and say “I have no further want from this life”. In doing so, know that you are returning my love through this act of living.” V-Man
