Beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Thomas Kevin Brown, Lt. Col. USAF was born to Irish immigrant parents in St. Louis, Missouri, October 30, 1917. He was a WWII B17 pilot with 35 missions over Germany, France and Normandy. Once ditching his plane , "The Blonde Bomber", in the English Channel. All ten crew members survived unhurt and returned to duty. Later flying hospital planes in the Pacific. He was awarded 4 Bronzes Stars, 4 Distinguish Flying Crosses and 4 Air Medals after his service. He began and managed a successful printing business, Multiplex Business Forms, in West Des Moines, Iowa. He and his wife retired to Vail, Colorado for 23 years. This was the happiest time if their life. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, June. Children, Jack (San Pedro, Belize), James (Dexter, Iowa), Kathleen (Boyd, Texas) Grandchildren Jamie (San Francisco, Ca) Alex Marysville, Wash) Great Grandchildren Rosalie and William. A Funeral Service for Thomas will be held at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on November 20, 2017 at 10:00 am. Any gifts please to Society for the Blind.
