She was born September 27, 1961 in Zanesville, Ohio to Lawrence Allen Agin and Wanetta Joyce Taylor. She was a graduate of Indian Creek High School in Wintersville, Ohio. She moved to the great state of Texas in 1980. She joined the US Postal Service in 1984. She was a loyal and committed worker and retired in 2003.
Theresa loved reading, and particularly enjoyed the poetry and warm thoughts expressed in greeting cards. She was an avid learner, and shared her knowledge freely, effectively and patiently. Her six grandchildren will deeply miss her.
Theresa was a shopper, always looking for good deals, and was a collector of antiques and paintings. She enjoyed trying her luck at lotto tickets but knew that her riches were her friends and family. Her kindness, jokes and smiles made everyone feel like a millionaire.
The “Young and the Restless” and “The Bold and the Beautiful” will miss her, and her more than 30 years of loyalty, and her family will be reminded of her every time they see a yellow carnation or hear the song of a bird.
She was preceded in death by her mother Wanetta Joyce Taylor and a brother Lance Rockwell Agin.
Theresa Is survived by her father, Larry Agin, brothers Reid Agin and Larry Allen, sister Deitra Agin; her husband of 20 years, “Daaahhling”Jack (John) Canfield, her daughter Kristin and husband Ghassan as well as her six grandchildren - Brannt, Ateka, Ayana, Zdan, Jennah and Raheem.

Friends and family are invited to join us in a memorial service, Sunday, November 18 at 2 PM at Euless First Church of the Nazarene, 801 Midway Rd., Euless, TX
