Stephen Reeder Boecking Jr.

Stephen R Boecking Jr, known also as Reed, went to be with the Lord on Aug 12th 2023. Reed was born on April 7th, 1989 to Steve and Tami Boecking in Raleigh NC.

Reed graduated from LD Bell High School in Texas went to Creighton and Texas Tech. Even still he was a big OU fan. He played at a competitive level of soccer for many years…it sure was fun to watch him run!!

He had various jobs and enjoyed working with people. He met Berkley and the two were soul mates for 8 years.

Reed will be missed by his large and loving family.

He is survived by his parents Steve and Tami Boecking. The love of his life, Berkley Danielle Dugan. His sister, Claire married to Derek Chamberlain and their 3 children Eli, Brooke and Ally. His maternal grandparents Tom and Helen Aschenbrener. His maternal aunt and uncle Stacy and Carl Singer, Jr and their children Graham and Sarah Singer, and Alison and Ben Zambito (baby Zoe Ann).

Paternal aunts and uncles Caroline and Fred Gist and their child Addison and Ken Forgit and their 3 children (Clark, Casey, Caleb). Henry and Sharon Boecking and their children Cort and Lori Boecking (Lexy), Michael and Cindy Boecking and their 3 children (Hayden, Ford, Cooper). Blake and Nikki Boecking and their 3 children (Greyson, Lucy, Andie). Curt and Susan Boecking and their children Emily, Lori and Clark Torbert and their 3 children (Wren, Violet, Forrest), and Catherine.

Wendi and Dan Foltz and their 2 children (Marshall and Alex, Harbour). Penny and David Harper and their 5 children (Baird and Mia, Rachel and Jack, Sally and Thomas (baby Thomas), Marnie and Hunter, and Matt.

Reed was preceded in death by paternal grandmother Mary Margaret Cashman and paternal grandfather Henry Edward Boecking Jr and his wife Sally McManus Boecking.
