Bob’s journey was one of faith, redemption, and love, and his presence will be deeply missed. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit, wisdom, and kindness will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
Rest in Peace, Bob. You have found the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.
I’m Still Here
Don’t cry for me, I’m still here,
I’m here in the morning as the dew soaks the ground,
I’m here in the wind as I move the leaves around,
I’m in that quietness as you lay down to rest,
I’m the peace in your mind when the chaos does its best.
I’m the love in your heart when you hold that newborn babe,
I’m the joy in your spirit after that last present the you gave.
I’m the cleansing rain washing away the dusty path,
I’m the quiet from the storm after that crazy aftermath,
I’m your sore feet after a long day’s work,
I’m the kiss from your loved ones and all that is worth.
I’m the heartbeat of the one, that I gave mine to,
I’m the breath of air in the lungs that made someone new.
So when you begin to tear up and your eyes begin to cry,
Stop that right now cause I’m the warmth you find inside,
Don’t cry for me, I’m still here.
