He is survived by his wife, Kathy, of Fort Worth, TX; his daughter, Cindy, and son-in-law, Scott, of Fort Worth, TX; his son, Charlie, daughter-in-law, Melissa, and grandson, Timothy, of Boise, ID; his sister, Nancy Painter, of Omaha, NE; and his sister Liz Snodgrass of Murray, NE. He is preceded in death by his sister, Pat, of Olathe, Kansas and his brother, Charles, of Plattsmouth, NE.
Bob was born on Jan 31 in Omaha, NE, to parents Robert and Fern. He completed 2 years of business classes at Wayne State in NE 1965-67. He worked in financial management in offices in Omaha, NE and Fort Worth, TX.
Bob was a great family man and a loving father. He married Kathy in 1973 in Wisner, NE and the couple had 2 children together.
Bob was a social, active man who was deeply involved in the church for much of his life. He enjoyed classic cars, target shooting and singing. His family and friends will always remember him as the “man who loved beagles.”
A funeral is scheduled for 9:30am, on Oct 2, at Calvary Lutheran Church with a reception to follow at the church. Pastor Phillip Heinze and Pastor Kyle Rouze will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bob’s life. The family would like to thank Pastor Phil, his medical team at Baylor Scott and White for their caring hearts.
