A memorial service will be held at 15:30 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on June 20th.
Robert was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 25, 1930. He received a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s in Business Administration from St. Stephens College in Los Angeles, California.
Robert was a world-traveling Korean War Veteran who worked as an Air Traffic Controller. He held various positions throughout his career including overseas Field Engineer at Bechtel, Director of Operations at the Kansas City Housing Authority, and Family Services Counselor at SCI. He was also heavily involved in the theatre community, acting in plays such as King Henry V in Los Angeles. He was an avid reader, enjoyed hunting, and debating politics and current events.
Robert is survived by his daughter Stefanie Jenkins, his granddaughter Dakota Maxwell-Jones, with whom he made his home, and grandchildren Kenya and Ryder Jenkins; family members Wanda Trigg, Tysha Heath, and nephew David White.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Pearl Moore and Robert Kenney, a brother, Ken Kenney, and a daughter, Traci Maxwell-Jones.
