Perry John Dingman was born on December 16, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska. He grew up in the small town of Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Perry served in the United States Air Force from 1965 to 1971. During his time in the Air Force, Perry attended several colleges across the U.S. He found his niche working as a Senior Programming Analyst for Tandy Corporation & Color Tile for over 20 years. He later spent several years working as a teller at Lone Star Park @ Grand Prairie.
While working for Tandy Corp in Fort Worth, Texas he met his beloved wife Nancy Gruver. Perry and Nancy were married on March 17, 1977 and had 48 wonderful years building their life together in Arlington, Texas.
He was a lifelong Nebraska Huskers fan and loved baseball - especially the Texas Rangers. Growing up he collected baseball cards and could rattle off any baseball stat you could think of. He was fascinated by the weather, loved dogs, collected coins, and even collected and traded license plates as a hobby in later years. If you ever crossed paths with him, he always had a pun, trivia question or riddle to stump you with.
He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family the morning of Tuesday, April 15th in Fort Worth, Texas. Perry is survived by his wife Nancy, daughters Sena Malard, Barbara Rorick and Traci Thetford, many grandkids, great-grandkids and sister Mary Ann McClanahan and family of Conway, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by son-in-law Craig Rorick, father Perry Dingman, mother Margaret Vallery Dingman Minniear and Harley Minniear.
