Patrick Frances Penwarden

Born in Beardstown, Illinois on June 18, 1948, to parents Robert “Bob” Houston Penwarden and Dorothy “Dot” Elizabeth Penwarden. He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School in Arlington, TX and owner and broker of the award winning company, On- Time Transportation.

He was a faithful member of The Cowboy Church in Kaufman, TX. He enjoyed attending church functions, traveling to new places on his Harley motorcycle and was especially happy when all the family was together. He will be remembered as the Harley riding Papa, that jolly Santa who helped the homeless during Christmas, a loving husband, father, grandpa, brother and friend.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise, brother Michael Louis Penwarden, and his four children: Christy Penwarden- Akey and husband David Akey, Robert Heath Penwarden, Misty Penwarden- Starks and husband Tommy Starks, Cody Christian Penwarden. He has nine grandchildren and one great- grandson. He was especially close to his adored pet Sophie.

The memorial service will be held June 10, 2017 @1:00 pm. Parker- Ashworth Funeral Home, 2217 S. Washington, Kaufman, TX 75142.
