Nicole Lee Graves, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 51. Born on August 28, 1973, Nicole brought joy and warmth to everyone she met.
Nicole is survived by her father, John (Jack) Graves; her mother, her brother, Jeff Graves; her sisters, Tracy Graves and Kelly Graves-Saba; her nieces, Katarina Saba Mansour. Shaye Graves, Payton Graves; and her favorite nephew, John Saba V. Nicole is preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Lee Graves. Nicole's family and friends will forever cherish the memories they shared with her.
Nicole's kindness, generosity, and vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her ability to make everyone feel special and being the life of the party. Her legacy of compassion and joy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
Nicole had a wide range of interests and hobbies. She loved watching reality shows and movies, going on cruises and she had a special passion for breeding and playing with her favorite dogs, pugs. Nicole was always in touch with her family, calling every week and sometimes daily just to say hi and check in. Her intelligence was evident from an early age; she started reading at age 3 and knew all the NFL teams by age 4. While she didn’t participate in many sports, she enjoyed snorkeling on vacation and hiking, and she loved the Minnesota Vikings.
Nicole didn't have one particular favorite song or artist, but she had a diverse taste in music, enjoying artists like Madonna, the Beastie Boys, Prince, and even Barry Manilow. She was always upbeat and positive, with a knack for making everyone smile.
A mass will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Incarnation Catholic Church in Sarasota, FL where Nicole went to elementary school at 9:30 am. While we will miss her dearly, let's honor her memory by embracing life with the same enthusiasm she did. Let's laugh, share stories, and cherish the memories we have of her. Nicole, thank you for the joy you brought into our lives. We love you, and we will carry your spirit with us always.'' A Celebration of life will be held to toast Nicole's life. Details will be shared with family and friends at a later date.
