With profound sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of Mickey R Flipp, a devoted father, cherished grandfather, and loyal friend. While our hearts are broken, we are grateful for a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable stories.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Wendy; his devoted son-in-law, Gary; and his treasured grandchildren, Mason, Nathan, and Annais, who were the light of his life. Nothing made him prouder than his family, and he loved each of them beyond measure.
Anyone who knew him knew he never met a stranger. He could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and within minutes they would feel like an old friend. He had a remarkable gift for storytelling. Whether he was sharing a cherished memory or spinning one of his imaginative tales, he had a way of making people laugh and leaving them wanting to hear just one more story. He had the gift of gab and personality that drew people in. Whether you had known him for 5 minutes or fifty years, changes are he had a story to tell. Some of his tales were so colorful and entertaining that they might leave you wondering, “Now is that really true?”
Coffee wasn't just his favorite drink—it was part of who he was. A fresh cup of coffee was the perfect companion to a long conversation, a good laugh, or another one of his unforgettable stories.
To his daughter, Wendy, he was so much more than a father. He was her protector, her biggest supporter, and one of her best friends. He gave her a childhood filled with love, laughter, and memories that she will carry with her forever. His kindness, sense of humor, and unconditional love shaped her life in countless ways.
Though he may no longer be with us, his stories, his laughter, and the love he sharded will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work and unforgettable memories.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
