Michael M. Smith of Bowie, Texas, passed on March 27, 2023 at the age of 85 years. Michael was born July 18, 1937 in Albany, Missouri.
He was an avid hunter, sharp shooter and a collector of fine art. He also loved traveling, collecting model trains and fireworks. Michael enjoyed rock hunting, cutting and polishing in his free time. He loved spending time on his ranch with his children and grandchildren.
Michael is survived by two daughters, Susan Bedell and Laura Smith of Keller TX; two sons, Michael of Arlington TX and Kenneth Smith of Bowie TX; and a sister, Mary Margaret Smith of Kapaa HI. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
