Michael Edward Bristow

He was born on June 11, 1945, in Dallas, TX. Mike and family later moved to the Las Vegas area where Mike attended Las Vegas High School.

He graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1961

After high school Mike attended cosmetology school to become a hairdresser.

He worked as a hairdresser and salon owner for many years in the Preston Center Area of Dallas.

He was actively involved in the salon industry as well as real estate where he learned to buy, refurbish, and resell homes.

Mike was preceded in death by his grandfather Leon Gunn, beloved grandmother, Jeanie Baker, who we all called Honey, his father Earl Bristow, and mother, Jeanie Leona Gunn

Mike is survived by his life partner of over 50 years. Gaylon Clifton, and his three brothers and two sisters, Joe, Billy, Freddie, Jeanie and Toni.

The family would like to take this time to say a special thank you to Gaylon for his undying love, friendship, companionship, and care that he showed to Mike in all their many years together and in Mike’s final days. We are eternally grateful.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life ceremony at Burn Run West Campground 825 W. Burns Run, Cartwright, OK. 74731 on Saturday September 2, 2023,

Visitation with the family will begin upon arrival. at 4:00 pm
