On 9 December, 2016 Melvin Leroy Noonan, 79, died peacefully in his sleep with his devoted wife by his side. Melvin was born in Baltimore, MD in 1937 where he raised a family of six. In retirement he made his way to Weatherford, TX to be closer to distant family. He was a dedicated family man who will always be remembered his for his sacrifices, larger than life personality, infectious laughter, and loyalty to the New York Giants. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Ottilee Noonan, 5 daughters, 4 son-in-laws, 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in his journey to heaven by his son, Michael Leroy. In lieu of a funeral service, the family will be holding a private memorial honoring his memory.
