Martin Eugene Riddle

Marty leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Shirley (Akers) Riddle, two sons David (Chris) and Richard (Carol), two daughters Deborah and Rosalie, step children Karen (Michael) Strzelecki and Steven Hannah, and several grandchildren. He also leaves his brother Henry (Heidi) Riddle and niece Patricia and nephew Matthew, and four great-nieces.

Born to Henry and Clara (Cunio) Riddle on March 6, 1930, Marty was raised in Memphis TN. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry.

Marty worked at Ford Motor Company in Memphis, TN for several years before transferring to Lorain, OH, where he retired after 30 years with the company. He lived in Deming, NM before settling in Cedar Hill, TX.

He was an avid golfer, and eventually he repaired and built custom golf clubs. He worked part-time at Prairie Lakes Golf Course in Grand Prairie, TX as a marshal where he often played golf with his many friends. Other hobbies included reading and travel.

Plans for a memorial will be at a later date. The family requests no flowers or gifts.
