Martha G Wells

Martha G. Wells of Keller, Texas died September 8, 2024. She was born in Conway, Arkansas July 14, 1936 to Byron Osborn Andersen and Allie Jewel Osborn. She passed away peacefully with her children and great grandchildren by her side.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Bobby M. Wells, her brother Bob Anderson and one grandchild Marc Dustin Choate. She leaves her three children Debi Wells Knoblock and husband Mark, Denice Wells Laster and husband Jerry and Darren Wells and wife Tina along with 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marty, as she was known, lived a life of service to her husband, her family and her church. She loved to read and spent many hours creating family quilts. She went to college and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics when her two youngest were in high school. She also spent hours supporting her children riding in 4-H and later rode and showed cutting horses with her husband Bob. Marty loved the friends she made at Keller UMC and loved her cat Cali who made sure she sat outside any morning weather permitted.

She will be missed but we are so thankful to be a part of this special woman’s life.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 20th at 11:00 am at Keller United Methodist Church, 1025 Johnson Rd. Keller Texas.

In lieu of flowers she requested that a gift be made to her church; Keller United Methodist Church.
