She was born on September 30, 1956, in Gadsden, Alabama, to Marvin Richard and Peggy Jean Cregger.
Lynne dedicated 30 years to her career as a systems analyst, known for her sharp mind and professionalism. Outside of work, she had a deep love for travel and often enjoyed antiquing with her husband, Kenny Mixon. Together, they found countless unique treasures that added joy to their lives.
Above all, Lynne’s greatest joy was being a grandmother to Danica Stout. Her love for Danica was immeasurable, and she took pride in the special moments they shared.
Lynne lived her life with a spirit of perseverance, always saying, “I did the best I could,” a reflection of her determination and heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Peggy Jean Cregger, and her beloved husband, Kenny Mixon. She is survived by her daughter, Ryan Warner; her brothers, Richard Cregger and Robert Cregger; her sister-in-law Renita and husband Robert McClendon; her cherished granddaughter, Danica Stout; other loving family members and many friends who became like family.
A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
Lynne’s family will forever love and miss her, knowing she left behind a legacy of love, kindness, and treasured moments.
