Lurienda Ellen Stinson

Lurienda was born to Harold McKinley Stinson Jr. and Lurienda June Hines Stinson, February 8, 1951, in Oklahoma City, OK. She lived her first six years in OKC and attended Prairie Queen Kindergarten and started first grade there. In December, 1957 the family moved to McLoud, OK, where she met her life-long friend, Della, in first grade and were inseparable until graduating in 1969. Lurienda attended Eastern Oklahoma State Junior College in Wilburton, OK, and East Central University in Ada, OK, graduating with a degree in Business Administration in 1973. Upon graduation she was employed by LVO Cable and then Truck Parts Specialists in Tulsa, OK, until 1987, when she transferred to Truck Parts Specialists in Dallas, TX. She met her partner Johnny while working there. She retired in 2017 after 43 years of service.

In her spare time, Lurienda, worked with children and adults to enable them to read and write. She loved spending time at Lake Fork in Texas putting her feet up and reading mystery books by James Patterson.

She is survived by Johnny, of the home, her sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Dale Small of Oklahoma City, OK, three cousins, her dear friends, Della, Robbie, Gale, Judy, Charlotte and her puppy Puddin.
