Kellie Ann Sanders

Kellie Ann Sanders, 51 of Grand Prairie, Texas, died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, of cancer, at the Emery J. Lilge Hospice in Burleson, Texas. She was born April 19, 1966 in California, to Dorothy A. (Bousquet) Sanders and Charles W. Sanders, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by an Aunt, Carol (Bousquet) Matthiesen, and two Uncles, Gary Bousquet and Greg Davidson as well as a special second mother, Janice Zetz. She is further survived by numerous cousins and many loving friends. Especially Johanna (Zetz) Clark, Leah Upchurch and Joi and Brent Stark.

She grew up in Texas and Washington. She graduated from Tumwater High School, in Olympia, Washington. After high school she attended Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, PA where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics in 1988. Upon returning to Texas she worked for the Fischbach Corporation in Dallas. Later she would work for Centex Construction Group, Air Device Warehouse and MJ Air Products, Inc.

Kellie loved her dog, John Dog and a special little dog, named Neuman, who adored her and loved the care she gave him. She loved a good hockey game, enjoyed shopping and traveling with friends near and far. She was always up for a trip to Galveston Island where she enjoyed the sea air and delicious seafood.

Kellie is being cremated and at her request there will be no formal service. Her family will be holding an informal gathering of friends, at a date yet to be determined. Memorials may be made in Kellie’s name to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
