Katherine Ellen Park of Fort Worth, TX passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at the young age of 50. She was born September 26th of 1975 at the brand new Plano General Hospital in Plano, TX.
She graduated from Arlington High School in 1994.
In 1997 she started work at Aetna and held various roles throughout her career there which spanned nearly 30 years.
Katy’s love language was food. She was an absolute wizard in a kitchen and loved making so many delicious things for our family and for others.
She is preceded in death by her father, Daniel Fooks.
She is survived by her husband, Jeff Park, her two sons Jacob Leach and Kellan Park, her brother Matt Fooks, and her mother Carol Price.
The family would like to thank the amazing team of caregivers in the Neuro ICU at Medical City Forth Worth for the care and compassion they showed to our beloved Katy in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life in the Grand Hall at NRH Centre at 6000 Hawk Ave, North Richland Hills, TX 76180 on Sunday, October 18 at 2:00 PM.
