Born in Akron, Ohio, Jack was a proud graduate of Notre Dame University graduating with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He went on to receive a Masters in Finance from the University of Texas at Arlington (Texas). Jack started his professional career in aerospace with LTV in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and ended his career with Oceaneering in Houston, Texas for over 20 years, as Director of Investor Relations.
An avid golfer and card player, Jack mastered the art of the “Foot Wedge” and was proficient at being “Euchred!” Christmas was his favorite time of the year. He enjoyed decorating his tree with beautiful Christopher Radko and Mackenzie-Childs ornaments and running the steam engine train under the tree with his grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Mary Ellen, and brothers, Bud and Bob. He is survived by sisters, Janet LaQuidari (Vincent), Ruth Stair, and Terry Jurkoshek (Jennifer), his son, John Jurkoshek (Kele), and daughters, Tricia Jurkoshek (John), Jill Cates, and Shannon Gehris (Michael). Jack has six grandchildren, Morgan, Ford, Rivers, Dayden, Ashlyn, and Christopher (“CJ”).
