Jerry M. Bagley, 77, died Friday, February 24, 2017. Arrangements are pending. Jerry came into this world November 12, 1939 in Seminole, Texas as the first born of George Leroy and Clara Moore Bagley. Jerry was schooled in Millsap and Mineral Wells and grew into A God- fearing gentle man. He was kind beyond measure and his favorite words were “thank you”. He was always willing to help his fellow man and had kind words for all. Jerry loved God, his family, his friends, and animals, especially the dogs in the family, whether it be Buster, Romo, Sadie or any others that he could share love with. He was a member of Indian Creek Baptist Church. Jerry served in the U.S. Army, his favorite time was spent stationed in Germany in the 60’s. He was a proud veteran and member of the American Legion and VFW in Mineral Wells. Jerry was an accomplished mechanic, a machinist at Peco and produce manager in the grocery business, retiring from Winn Dixie. He was survived by his son, Jarred Ray Bagley. He is survived by siblings, Barbara Henderson and Ila and Ed Pilkington of Mineral Wells, Al and Robin Bagley and Jean and Ken Rich of Mansfield. He is survived by a special cousin and friend, Walter Bagley of Millsap, his fishing buddy. He is survived by nieces and nephews, Zane Silverthorn of Grand Prairie, Deborah and Kevin Alleman of Weatherford, Beth Lafta of Big Sur, California, Cindy and Tony Boyd and David and Lexy Pilkington of Mineral Wells, Gary Rich of Waxahachie, Dedra and Doug Brown and Christie and James Abbott of Arlington, Jessica Jones of Arlington, Nicole Bagley of Alabama, and Casey Bagley of Mansfield. He is survived by many cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by a loving daughter, Tracy Lee Bagley and his loving parents, George Leroy and Clara. We want to thank the staff at Mineral Wells Rehab that took such good care of Jerry the past couple of years and showed him love and caring days. We also want to thank Solaris Hospice for their love and support.
