Jean Lorraine Clark

Jean Lorraine (Norris) Clark passed away on January 2, 2024 at the age of 93. She was born in the Bronx, graduated from Christopher Columbus High School, and then from Fordham School of Nursing as a RN. After nursing school she was a 1st Lieutenant in the Air Force serving in the Azores. She met her husband Frederich Clark in the Azores and was married for 53 years. She was deeply involved in arts over her life and worked with many media – prints, sculpture, ceramics and painting. She received a BA degree in arts from the University of New York in 1992.

She is survived by her brother Richard (Pass Christian MS), and her four children - Frederich (Zhanna) Clark Jr. of San Antonio TX, John (Jan) Clark of Crowley TX, Mary (Paul) Chang of Boxford MA, and Matthew (Kathy) Clark of Philadelphia PA, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She will be interred at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery next to her husband Frederich Clark Sr.
