James B. Frazier, Jr. (Jim), 84, passed away from pulmonary fibrosis in the early morning hours Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 at his Fort Worth home. A memorial gathering will be held in the Parlor at Broadway Brookdale City View Senior Living Community, 5301 Bryant Irvin Road, Fort Worth, on Sunday, January 15 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Jim was a 2nd generation Texan who grew up in Lancaster, Texas. He married the love of his life, Betty Mae Taylor, on Aug. 16, 1952. After a few semesters at TCU, Jim served 4 years in the Navy, and then obtained a Bachelors in Engineering from UT Austin. Jim and Betty moved to Boston, MA so that Jim could attend MIT and they lived in Boston for six years before returning to Fort Worth for good in 1963. He later received a Mechanical Engineering Masters from SMU. Jim worked for 43 years at General Dynamics (Lockheed Martin) in Fort Worth, where he worked on F-16 and F-111 airplanes, including testing systems for the cockpit head-up displays. He was preceded in death by Betty, who passed Dec. 21, 2013. Jim was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing tennis and watching sports on TV. Survivors: two children, Ben Frazier and Kathryn Cloutier; four grandchildren, Clif, Erin, Kevin and Bryan; two great-grandchildren, Lena and Leo. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and fun-loving spirit and will be greatly missed. Arrangements under the direction of NEPTUNE SOCIETY - Fort Worth, Fort Worth, TX.
