Jay was born September 23, 1939 in San Antonio Tx. and Passed away at home December 16, 2018 at the age of 79.
He was the only son of Gilbert and Hazel Fater.
Jay served in the Army from 1964 to 1968 and was a Vietnam Veteran.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine, sons Michael & Wife Laurie and Perry & wife Stacy, 4 grandchildren Kristian, Taylor, Josh and Savannah. He was preceded in death by his parents and many uncles and aunts.
He began his career at Western Electric & AT&T and finished his career in telecommunications at GTE where he spent 28 years.
Jay will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
