Helen Jo McCleskey

Jo McCleskey passed away Wednesday February, 22 2017 at her home in Weatherford, Texas.

She was born in Putnam, Tx. on January, 26, 1935 to James Floyd Coffey and Georgia Mae Everett Coffey. She grew up in Cottonwood and Cross Plains, Tx. and graduated from Cross Plains High School in 1953. She worked at Southern Airways in the payroll dept. at Ft.Wolters from 1961 until 1971.And retired from G.D. in 1997.

Jo loved to garden, and do yardwork, and to spend time outdoors. She loved cooking out, and going camping. And she loved working cipher puzzles in her spare time. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. And she loved to travel!

She is survived by 1son, Barry McCleskey and wife Jana of Ft. Worth, 1 daughter, Vanessa Roden and husband Ray of Weatherford. 5 grandchildren, Jason McCleskey and wife Krissy of Ft. Worth, Ryan Roden and wife Katie of Weatherford, Jacob Roden of Weatherford, and Jody Moore, and Toby Moore and their families of San Antonio. And numerous great-grandchildren. Sister-in-law Frances Coffey of Dallas, and niece Susan Berkowitz and her family of Dallas, Tx. And a very special cousin Caryon Garrett and her family of Cisco, Tx.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd, & Mae Coffey, 1 son Ricky Don McCleskey, 1 grandson James Floyd McCleskey, 2 brother's, Jimmy Glen Coffey, and Durward Everett Coffey.

A celebration of her life is planned with close family and friends. The date will be posted later.
