It was an honor to know and serve with George for many years with Delta Air Lines. George was highly respected and admired among the pilots for his leadership, character and loyalty. A gentleman of integrity who sought to bring the best for the pilot group and Delta Air Lines.

George was a wonderful person and he was instrumental my having a successful life with Delta Air Lines. I contracted cancer early in my career and lost my medical certificate for almost 4 years. George worked tirelessly through ALPA to get me back on flying status. I will be forever grateful.
