Frank Enos Wanker

He was born December 5, 1937, in WaKeeney, Kansas to the late Frank Edwin Wanker and Dorothy Brandyberry Wanker.

Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1959 as an intelligence officer. After his service to our Nation he began a long and successful career in business & accounting.

In his spare time he enjoyed gardening and working on home improvement projects. More than anything, he enjoyed spending time with his loving wife and family. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Frank will forever be remembered and missed.

Frank is survived by his wife of 47 years, Virginia Sue Wanker; Sons, Mitchell Shane Wanker, and Jeffrey Lee Wanker; Daughter, Jennica LeeAnne McEvers; Grandchildren, Barrett Mitchell Chasteen, Kaylee Sue Cessor Wanker, Jamie Wanker, Brooklin Olson, Emilee Shayne Wanker, Morgan Olson, Kinsley McEvers, and Harlowe McEvers; Brothers, Everett Wanker, and Jim Wanker; Sister, Wanda Henao.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Wyla Roberts.

A memorial service to honor Frank will be held Friday, July 28, 2017, at Trinity Baptist Church, 2001 W Pioneer Pkwy., Grand Prairie, Texas at 2p.m., officiated by Pastor Tom Kolb.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in his name.
