Elmer Russell Ramey

Russell Ramey (1939-2026) went to be with His Heavenly Father June 2, 2026 surrounded by family. Russ was born in London Ohio, served in the U. S. Marine and the U.S. Air Force. Owner of Sunshine Camper Sales in Milan IL., and retired from McClains RV in Denton TX. He retired as an avid golfer and a food loving restaurant goer!

Russ lived a long life full of travel, family, golf, and work. Many knew him as quite the salesman with the gift of gab. He rarely met a stranger.

Russ leaves behind his beloved wife Geri of 66 years. son Randy Ramey (Elise), daughter Kim Adams (Paul), Grandchildren Brandon Adams (Heidi), Correna Ramey, Jeremy Ramey (Jennifer), Ashley Casey (Chris). Great grandchildren: Payton and Nathan Floyd, Ethan Casey, Caleb and Parker Adams, Hudson Ramey, and Jordan and Kenneth Kimpton. His sisters Sandy McCarty (Terry), Linda Cox, and Delores Earles (Wayne). He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Garnet Rose, his sisters Nancy and Marilyn, and granddaughter Carrie Floyd.
