At a young age, he enlisted in The United States Army and served in World War II as an MP.
After returning back to the states in 1945 he arrived in New York City and met the love of his life Julia Bartuch. Within two weeks they were married in a union that would last 76 years until her passing in 2021.
For most of his adult life, buying and selling automobiles was his passion. When he wasn’t working he was in his garden or on the golf course, and he always made time to go fishing.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Julia Conder and his twin brother Delmer Conder and brother George Conder.
He is survived by his sister, Margarette Alexander, his daughter, Cheryl Sharp, his granddaughter, Natalie Goodwin and her husband Mark, his grandson Chris Sharp and wife Nancy along with three great grandchildren, Seth, Ian and Christina.
