She loved her career as a Speech Pathologist almost as much as she loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She felt very blessed to have a job that she loved; Supervisor of Speech Pathology at Medical City North Hills Hospital was her dream job when she arrived in Texas. While working there, she made so many wonderful friends in that job, lasting friends that that were a testament of her character.
Before she passed away, it was important to her that everyone know that her happiest moments were spending time with her husband and family which is all she ever really wanted or needed. Ellen believed that being Christian meant leading by example not by words. Life is to be celebrated and embraced. Death is not the end but a glorious beginning.
SURVIVORS: Mother: Peggy Reed; Husband: Bill; Children: Ashley Marie & Bill Jr., their spouses: Scott & Robyn; Grandchildren: Avary Ellen, Ellesa, & Cannon; and Ellen’s brothers: John & Ken.
Prayer for Ellen:
Holy Father, thank you for the life of your daughter, Ellen Brandenburg. Thank you for allowing her to touch so many lives. As she now resides in your loving embrace in Heaven, we ask that she would know how deeply she is loved and how many people she impacted. Please bring comfort to those that miss her earthly presence. Allow all that knew her to believe and trust in Jesus Christ, as she did, so they will be reunited with Ellen one day in Heaven. We pray all these things in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
- Ashley Marie (Brandenburg) Eckstein
