Elise Joy Otto, affectionately called Baby Elise, was a true gift to all who met her. Born December 18, 2016, she went into the arms of Jesus unexpectedly, on September 6, 2019. Having Down Syndrome, she was born with an extra chromosome but that meant she brought extra joy and love to her family. She was truly the physical expression of her middle name, Joy, to all who knew her and to any stranger who was blessed to come into her presence. From the beginning, Elise's sparkling eyes and beautiful smile charmed everyone she met. She was an unexpected gift to her parents but one that God knew was needed most. Elise worked hard everyday to push herself. She was observant, happy, joyful, and silly. Her love of music, dance, and keeping up with her sisters motivated her daily. She was the life of her family and will be missed more than words can say. Elise left behind a loving family; her Parents, Falon and Beau Otto; her two adoring Sisters, Eden and Emerson; her Grandparents, Lori McMurrey (LoLo) and Tracy and James Otto (Nana and Papa); Great-Grandmother, Carmen McMurrey (Grammy); Aunts and Uncles, Christopher McMurrey and Jennifer Bird, Lily and Tyler Tate, Hannah and Zach Ingram, Taylor and Ben Otto; Cousins, Eli and Samuel Ingram, Brian and Alyssa Jacobs and Henry and August Jacobs; Great-Aunts, Lisa Stone, Linda Hall and Linda Otto. Elise was preceded in death by her Grandfather, David McMurrey (DoeDoe).
