Earl Keith Burns, 78, of Fort Worth, TX passed away peacefully on April 4, 2017. He was born in Canon City, Colorado to Forrest and Ethel Burns. He grew up in Buena, Washington. Later, he moved to southern California where he graduated from Downey High School. He was a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War with the rank of Captain. He was an avid boxer and was awarded Golden Gloves Champion. He enjoyed watching westerns on television and eating Chinese food.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Joyce; son-Kevin; daughter-Eila and husband Joe Smith; daughters Erica and Erin. He has 9 grandchildren: Anthony, Susie, Joey, Tyler, Shawnie, Harley, John Michael, Mikela, Keith Carol; and 4 great-grandchildren: Allison, Austen, Rylan, and Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his mother-Ethel; Father- Forrest; sister- Debra; and daughter Christine.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice of Fort Worth.
