Deb, born on 2/28/1960, in Amarillo, Tx, grew up in Arlington, Tx and also lived in Boulder,Co and Euless,Tx. She graduated Tarrant County College with a Nursing degree.
At the age of 36, she married Mark Thompson, and went on to have a career in nursing before contracting chronic Lyme disease, which forced her into disability. Despite her constant pain, Deb lived a full life, she enjoyed gardening, reading and loved her grandchildren and beloved Old English Sheepdogs.
She is survived by her husband Mark of Euless, Tx, her son Joseph Patrick Collins of Bedford,Tx, two step children, Jason Thompson of Euless, Linda Thompson of Krum,Tx, and three grandchildren, Tristan, Dalilah, and Easton, all of Euless.
Deb will be remembered for her kindness, fun-loving demeanor, and resilience. Please pray that she is now pain free and rejoicing in the arms of our beloved God.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Leon Hogg Pavilion in Euless, TX on Sunday, June 25th from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM for service and remembrance of Deb. Following the service, there will be Fellowship and Food from 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. The address is 1951 Bear Creek Parkway in Euless, 76039. Please RSVP to [email protected] by June 18th so I can ensure enough refreshments for all. Please dress casually, but respectably. Deb and I would greatly enjoy your attendance.
