David Chester McDonough

David was born November 18, 1942 in Mason City, Iowa to the late Vern and Maxine McDonough. He married Sharlene Kurtz in November 1967 in Iowa City, Iowa and she preceded him in death. David married Ann Lyons April 1992 in Burleson, Texas and she preceded him in death. David was also preceded in death by his daughter Michelle, at birth.

David is survived by son, Michael McDonough of Burleson and sister, Susan Claycomb of Mason City, Iowa.

David graduated from Mason City High School, Mason City, Iowa in the class of 1960. He attended community college in Mason City, Iowa and American Institute of Business, Des Moines, Iowa with a bachelor degree in Business Administration.

David was involved in real estate sales for several years with his father, Vern in Iowa. David managed tire stores for over 30 years.

David enjoyed boating, skiing, fishing, golfing, as well as dancing and bowling in his earlier years.

David was active in the Burleson Rotary Club.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
