He was born August 21, 1935 in St Paul Minnesota to Alvin and Ruth Bilodeau. He is survived by his loving wife, Jane; his children Terri and husband Ron Agner, Mary and husband John Toth, Barbara and husband Mike Sheehan, Anita and husband Tom Cole, Dave Bilodeau, Steve Bilodeau, Brian Bilodeau, Janice Freeman, Sharron Freeman; many many grandchildren and great grandchildren and sister Mary Jo Strecker. He is preceeded in death by his parents, brothers Jack Bilodeau, Winn Bilodeau, and Tom Bilodeau.
David was a very hard worker and worked in the stainless steel business. He was a manager for many years and later started his own stainless steel sales company. He always provided very well for his family. David and Jane met on a blind date and were married in 1981. They were married for 42 wonderful years and lived a life full of adventure. David loved to watch NASCAR racing and football, he enjoyed visiting the beach and spending time with family and friends. However, in all his travels, his favorite place was home with Jane, oh how he loved her cooking. He was always very proud of where he lived. You could always find David sporting his suspenders working in his beautiful yard. He loved animals and alwasy had a dog following him around as he worked. David and Jane shared a home in many lovely locations, from the Rio Grande valley, Houston, Taos New Mexico and finally back to Aledo Texas to be close to family. David was full of life and joy! He always had a smile on his face and was sure to greet you with a “supercalafragilisticexpialidocious”! He had a kind heart and would do anything for you. David lived his life as a Christian, his life was truly lived as a servant and embodied Jesus’ love. David and Jane were member of Cross Timbers Baptist Church for 19 years. He enjoyed Sunday School, ice cream socials and potlucks. Everyone who knew him was proud to be his friend. His infectious joy will be greatly missed.
