Born on August 13, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, Dale lived a life marked by service, dedication, and an unshakable passion for aviation.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Dale served from 1969 to 1980, earning numerous commendations, including the National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, Air Force Good Conduct Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Bronze Star Medal. His time in the military shaped his values of hard work, discipline, and camaraderie—principles he carried throughout his life.
After his military service, Dale transitioned into the oil and gas industry, where he eventually founded his own company. However, his heart never strayed far from the skies. His love for aviation led him to a long and fulfilling career at Lockheed Martin, where he worked for over 20 years. Fixing airplanes wasn’t just his job - it was his passion. He took great pride in his work and cherished the friendships he built along the way.
Dale is survived by his children, Jirapong (Jerry) Morse and Dalana Morse; his grandchildren, Kyndra Morse, Tyler Morse, and Jarett Morse; and his great-grandchildren, Kynlee Cornelissen, Lakyn Morse, and Teagan Morse. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Hand and her husband, Reuben Hand, as well as his former spouse, Kwanruedee (Mary) Morse.
Dale lived life on his terms, always ready with a joke, a story, or a helping hand. His legacy of service, resilience, and love for the skies will be remembered by all who knew him.
