She was born on May 26, 1964, in Big Spring, Texas to Joann Loudamy and the late Loy Loudamy. Dacia was a beloved wife to Steve Roen and a cherished daughter-in-law to Carol Roen and the late John Roen. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Lisa Hobbs and husband David, and her nephews Derek Wash and wife Crystal, Brodie Wash and wife Kaci, Clinton Hobbs, Balin Roen, brother-in-law Mark Roen, her aunt, Dorothy Carter, as well as three great-nephews and one great-niece.
Dacia had a fulfilling career as an Adult Probation officer for Howard and Tarrant County. She was dedicated to her work and made a positive impact in many lives throughout her career. Dacia’s commitment to justice and her compassion for others will be remembered by all who knew her.
Outside of her professional life, Dacia had a passion for reading, music, and solving puzzles. She found joy in these hobbies, and they brought her relaxation and happiness. Dacia was a lifetime member of College Baptist Church, Big Spring, Texas.
Dacia was a loving and caring individual who held her family close to her heart. She had a special bond with her fur baby Barnaby and treasured spending time with her loved ones. Dacia’s warm and gentle nature touched the lives of many, and her memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Dacia’s honor to your favorite charity or the American Diabetes Association. This organization was close to her heart, and contributions will support their important work in diabetes research and education.
