Cindy Ann Perez (née McDaniel), age 68, passed away on April 7, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas. Born on April 20, 1956, also in Fort Worth, she remained deeply rooted in the community that shaped her life.
Cindy was a devoted mother to her daughters, Z'na Perez and Carolyn Rivera. Her love and guidance extended to her cherished grandchildren—Raina, C'va, Olivia, Elaina, Ava, and Isaac—who brought immense joy to her life.
She was the beloved daughter of Billie McDaniel and the late Jack McDaniel. Cindy shared close bonds with her siblings: Jim McDaniel and his wife Carrie Reutter; Tim McDaniel and his wife Laura McDaniel; and her brother-in-law Tony Deauman and late sister-in-law Margaret Deauman. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Perez, her father Jack McDaniel, her mother-in-law Erlinda Perez and her sister-in-law Margaret Deauman.
Cindy’s legacy continues through her nephews—Blake McDaniel, Garrett McDaniel, Brandon McDaniel, Scott Reutter, Elijah Deauman, and TJ Deauman—as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews who were touched by her warmth and presence.
A woman of deep faith, Cindy was a dedicated member of Crossroads Tabernacle in Fort Worth. Her spiritual home provided a foundation for the values she lived by and shared with those around her.
One of Cindy’s greatest passions was bowling. She spent many years as a bowling coach and traveled to numerous youth bowling tournaments alongside her daughters and nephews. Her commitment to mentoring young bowlers reflected both her competitive spirit and nurturing heart.
A memorial service honoring Cindy’s life will be held on April 19, 2025, at Crossroads Tabernacle, located at 1470 Morrison Dr., Fort Worth, Texas 76112. The service will begin at 2:00 PM and will be followed by a reception to conclude at 5:00 PM.
