Barbara Patricia Moore

Mom was born December 1, 1947, in Warren, Pennsylvania to Robert and Audrey Greer, the only girl out of five children. She was a Vietnam veteran having served in the Army stateside as a Medical Corpsman at Fort Dix, New Jersey. Mom was a strong, independent, and intelligent woman, who after marriages, divorces, various jobs, and raising four children, returned to school, attending Weatherford College in their newly formed Respiratory Therapy program. She graduated with a perfect 4.0 and worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for many years. Upon retiring mom settled

in Stamford, Texas for 16 years before returning home to Mineral Wells last year. Mom loved God and that gives us a peace that death cannot take way.This is not goodbye, it is “see you later.”

Mom was preceded in death by her oldest daughter and our big sister, Kimberly Peterson, her parents, Robert and Audrey, and two of her four brothers.

She is survived by daughter Kelly Murman, and husband John, and granddaughter Kathryn, son John D Moore IV and wife Nikki, grandsons, John and Austin, and granddaughter Lori, daughter Barby (Moore) Denton, granddaughter Kymberli and fiancé Dylan, great grandson Danny Paul, and great granddaughter Kenzlee, grandsons Brian and LT, and granddaughter Patience, Bonus granddaughters Haley and Taylor Bell, bonus great grandchildren Bentley and Braxton, and her beloved dog Dora.

We would like to thank Mineral Wells Nursing Center and Solaris Hospice for providing our mom with excellent care, respect, and dignity.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the Mineral Wells Animal Shelter or the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
