Audrey Lynette Unruh

Audrey Lynette Unruh, an ever-present mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend peacefully passed away in Texas at the age of 90 on April 28, 2025. Born and raised in Colorado, Lynette was a proud Coloradan whose life reflected the beauty and resilience of her home state.

Throughout her life, Audrey found her greatest joy in her children, who were the highlights of her life. No matter where life and work took them she created a home for her family. Her children brought her immense joy and their shared experiences resulted in an unwavering bond.

While her life was not without struggle, Lynette was also deeply connected to her quiet faith and community. She found great fulfillment in her love for music, participating in the choir at South Broadway Christian Church in Denver, Colorado. Her voice resonated with devotion and personal peace.

Lynette was married to her devoted husband Duane for 62 years. Their partnership was a beautiful story of family and travel. Her children; Cindy, Diane, David and Karen, five grandchildren and three great-granddaughters will celebrate her life in Colorado this summer.

Duane welcomed Audrey home to eternity at a time when the wildflowers of Texas were at full bloom, as she would expect nothing less.
