Alesia Gene Dowling

Alesia Gene Dowling, 65, passed with family at her side on Sunday, February 5, 2017 after a 7 year courageous battle with cancer.

SERVICE: Memorial service to be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday Feb. 25, 2017 at Aledo Church of Christ, 201 S. FM 1187, Aledo, TX.. Internment will be a private family service at DFW National Cemetery.

MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to American Cancer Society. Alesia was born January 11, 1952 in Marlow, OK to Bob and Dortha Green. She lived in Fort Worth since 1979. She began her insurance career at a DFW radio station, then Keller school district and national insurance company before starting her insurance brokerage business 2004. She was an active agent till passing.

SURVIVORS: Husband of over 46 years, Jimmy, Mother Dortha Green, brother Mickey Green and sister Terri Tucker. Also survived by the loves of her life, sons Jeffery Dowling and wife Courtney, Justin Dowling, daughter Melissa Dowling and the special loves of her life, grand children Jessica Dowling, Jacob Dowling, Lillian Dowling, Jack Dowling, great grand children Austin White and Easton White. She is also survived by several uncles, aunts, cousins and many special loving friends and family.
