Aledo, Texas- Ada May Crawford, 84, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away at home on December 29, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was a strong woman and surpassed, by far, the life expectancy presented at diagnosis.
Born on December 18, 1940 to Marjorie and Floyd Worthington in Elyria, Ohio. Ada graduated from Midview High School in 1958. Her natural beauty was timeless. In addition, Ada was the Director for Higbees Department Store Modeling School. Etiquette was of utmost importance; Ada became a Charm School Instructor after her modeling career ended.
Ada was blissfully married to Jim Crawford in 1958, her partner and soulmate for 64 years. Jim and Ada shared their appreciation for American antiques and had a successful business for several years, taking them on many adventures across the country. Their dogs were their constant companions and traveling partners.
Ada is preceded in death by her lifelong love, Jim Crawford. She is survived by her children, Floyd Crawford, Kim Crawford, and Carolyn Hill ( Danny); grandchildren Zac Kucish (Sloane), Samantha Hill (Reggie), Ashley Shabareck (Mike), Taylor Nast (Spencer), Cole Crawford and eight great grandchildren.
