William Dean Hoffman

Bill served in the United States Navy for 22 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 1980.

He was actively involved with the Jobs for Us disability employment company.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, Edgar and Edna Hoffman.

He is survived by Mary Ann his Loving wife, Loving children Anthony Butkowski (Lezlie), Michael Butkowski (Gary), Ronald Butkowski (Diana), Harry Hoffman and Charlene Hoffman, 10 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Bill was a caring, loving, gentle man who treated everyone fairly and with respect.

The family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Gwinnett, and the staff at Aveanna Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Bill in his final days.

Family and friends are invited to a Committal Service with full military honors at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 12:30 PM.
