

Wayne Wilmont Corson, born on August 20, 1940, in Lynn, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at the age of 85 on January 29, 2026, in Atlanta, Georgia. Wayne was a respected figure in his community and a beloved family man, known for his intelligence, loyalty, kindness, and loving nature.
Wayne graduated from Newman Prep in Boston and went on to earn his degree from Bates College in 1963. His commitment to service was evident early on as he joined the US Marines, where he served with distinction before transitioning to a successful career in the printing industry and eventually founding his own firm, Spectracolor.
Beyond his professional life, Wayne enjoyed exercising, reading, the Red Sox and golf, often sharing these interests with friends and family, creating lasting memories. His commitment to personal health and well-being was matched by his dedication to his family and community.
Wayne was a beloved father to his daughter, Tracy Corson; son, Derek (Rick) Corson; daughter-in-law, Venetia Corson; and grandsons, Ben and Jack Corson. He was previously married to Judy Corson and Bonny Herrling. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Wilmont (Flip) Corson.
Wayne's legacy of kindness and commitment to his family will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who knew him.
A service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at Mission on the Bay in Swampscott, MA on Thursday February 26, 2026 at 12pm.
