

Robert Carl Lindahl of Dunwoody, GA passed away on July 5, 2024 at the age of 66. He was born on October 4, 1957 in Ann Arbor, MI where he grew up in a loving home with parents Charles and Eloise, as well as his older brother Charlie and younger sister Sarah.
As a young man, Robert was an exceptional musician. He served as first chair percussionist in the Florida All State Band which represented individuals deemed best in the state for their musical ability, from the time he was in junior high school. Before he was even old enough to drive, Robert worked at formal dinner theaters and other musical venues. Additionally, he received a music performance scholarship to attend The University of Florida (UF). He was the leader of the UF percussion section in the marching band and a member of an award-winning Jazz group at UF.
Robert graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1979. He then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree at Vanderbilt University.
During his career, Robert worked in healthcare administration, and he spent the majority of his career serving as a senior healthcare executive. He was most proud of his work at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Southeastern Gynecologic Oncology.
In his free time, Robert was actively involved in local cycling clubs and music organizations. He also enjoyed playing tennis, watching college football, and spending time with family.
Robert Lindahl is preceded in death by his parents, Charles E. Lindahl and wife Eloise Lindahl, and sister-in-law Karen Williams.
Robert is survived by his former wife Kathie Lindahl, children Christy Lindahl, Daniel Lindahl and wife Caroline Lindahl, as well as brother Charles S. Lindahl and son Matthew Williams, and sister Sarah Gonzales and husband John Gonzales.
