Michael lived his life full of fun and adventure. He was an avid outdoorsman who had a passion for woodworking, hunting deer and traveling the world. Even so, Michael was an intellectual at heart and thirsted to learn as much as he could about any topic. He always made time to enjoy a good book, spend time with friends and family, and would be the life of the party on a dance floor.
Michael always cared for those around him and would always make it a point to help out in a moment's notice. Michael loved fiercely and made it a point to value every moment spent with his friends and family. Michael was also an active member of St. Lukes United Methodist and loved his church family.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Susie Ezell-Brown, daughter Melanie Hickcox (husband Seth), granddaughter Kyla Hickcox, stepdaughter Michaela Ezell (husband Brishon), sister Patty Morton and brother Ross Meloan (wife Sharion). Along with the numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends across the States.
Michael is met in heaven by his big sister Nancy, his parents Barbara and Harry Brown, and all of the furry critters Michael said he did not want but quickly became his constant lounging companions.
In lieu of flowers, Michael’s family has requested memorial gifts be sent to:
