Mary grew up in Gloversville where she met her husband, Bob. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Buffalo State College. Once married, Mary was a loving mother and homemaker, raising her six children while also managing her own retail business, running an art gallery and other professional endeavors over the years.
Those who knew Mary will remember her for her beautiful smile, her love of anything purple, her passion for cooking AND baking, where she created delicious meals and unbelievable desserts from whatever was available. She also had a remarkable knack for decorating. Mary was extremely talented and loved creating all types of art projects, using rich colors in a variety of mediums. Mary was always active in her local catholic church and found great comfort in her deep faith in Jesus Christ and her loving relationship with her guardian angel, Saint Josephine. She worked hard all her life and was known for her grit and determination. Her door was always open to her extended family, friends and her children's friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Robert Sidney Lettis.
