Margery Joan Head

Margie graduated from Douglas High School in South Dakota. She was the class of 1978. After high school she went to Black Hills State College. She graduated in 1983 with her LPN. She worked in a convent taking care of the elderly nuns, several nursing homes, Hospice of Warner Robins, and Houston Medical Center on the IV team & IV therapy, and then pediatrics from 1993 to 2016. She retired in 2016.

She was an active member of her high school drama club. Margie was also an active member of the First Baptist Church of Haynesville in Hawkinsville, GA.

Margie was preceded in death by her parents, George R. Overturf and Marjorie R. (Payne) Overturf. She is survived by her siblings; Richard (Aftan) L. Overturf, Darrell (Michelle) W. Overturf, Robert (Bonita) L. Overturf, and Diane (Paul) R. Likness. Her children; Margerie Ann (Nightbert) Rogers, Thomas A Nighbert, and David A Kronsted. Grandchildren; Jeremiah A Rogers, Aaron J Rogers, Kelly G Rogers, Levi M Rogers, Martha E Head, Joseph T Head, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. She is set to be interred at Parkway Memorial Gardens in Centerville, GA.
